Kasti

This game is called "Kasti". People in Mataram do this in spare time, especially by children or school students. The equipment is tennis ball and wooden mallet with a long stick approximately 60 cm. This game is similar to softball but more simple, and not too many rules. Just hit the ball and run through all the post :)

Are you good at 'kasti', Nanak? This photograph is packed with interesting details from Mataram. Thank you.

Fascinating! Love the simplicity of it.

Yes, Nanak, that is the back porch of my house. We eat all of our dinners out there during the summer. And that self-portrait from yesterday was not very flattering, and a bit distorted by the glass, but what a perceptive viewer you are to have noticed.

Do girls play 'kasti' too? The girl on the porch is just watching.

Kasti looks like fun! :-)
Great T-shirt colours, they really make your photo so eye-catching! You've framed it very well.

It's nice to see kids outside playing - it's much better than being in front of the TV or playing video games!
